What follows is a little bit about me, who I am, etc...
I'll spare you my complete life story, its not important. In short, I was born in Enumclaw, WA on a farm, moved to Oregon about 8 years later, and have been moving around inside this state for the last 11.
I currently reside in Corvallis, OR. I live here because I'm busy attending the nearby Oregon State University as a physics major. I'm more or less an extreme nerd, with an interest in things most people would consider "strange" or even "odd". I also am an avid Sci-Fi fan, both of the video type and of the book type. Astronomy and Astrophysics in particular fascinate me, as does time travel and other such oddities.
I'm an unwilling 2006 graduate of the South Salem High School in Salem, OR where I was pretty active in the band program. I had a lot of free time in high school. I think it was, with the exception of one or two classes, pretty much a waste of time.
I'm now a student in the College of Science at Oregon State University, studying physics. This fall I will be starting my sophomore year. I also acquired my first apartment in the summer of 2007, after a rather hellish experience in Wilson Hall. (Long story, ask me about it sometime.) Anyway, I live there now.
"DumberDrummer" is a nick I acquired sometime in high school. Someone jokingly referred to me as such, and I simply decided to transfer that to my online presence. It also has morphed into several other monikers, most notably "TheDD", "DD", and "TheDarkDirk". There are others, but they aren't so important. I use it pretty much everywhere, so if you see it its probably a safe bet that its me.
So yeah, that's about it.
